Engineering & Development
This is where our cloud-native core banking platform, BANCOS Core Banking, is developed. It is based on state-of-the-art technologies, such as modular cloud services for account, payment and third-party integrations. These are delivered directly to the cloud environments of our client banks – containerised and via modern DevOps pipelines such as Terraform. You will work in a ‘API-first’ approach within modern development environments, with a commitment to the highest quality, clean code and meeting deadlines – from implementation through to automated testing. In this way, you will help shape how regulated banking software is developed today: scalable, maintainable and with full data sovereignty for our clients.
IT Operations
Our software runs 24/7. You’ll ensure that our systems operate reliably and securely, both internally and when deployed in our banking clients’ cloud environments. Your responsibilities will range from the operation and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure through CI/CD, monitoring and quality assurance of deployed releases, to handling incidents. You’ll work with modern DevOps practices such as Infrastructure-as-Code and keep a highly available, regulatory-compliant system landscape up and running. A multifaceted role in which you’ll have the freedom to actively help shape processes and solutions.
Customer Success & Delivery
Here, BANCOS meets the reality of our clients’ situations – and these teams act as the interface. On the one hand, you’ll be in close dialogue with our clients, identifying their technical and regulatory requirements. Together with Development and IT Operations, you’ll translate these into viable solutions – from the initial requirement right through to go-live. On the other hand, you’ll lead software projects for banks and fintechs to a successful conclusion: you’ll manage agile project processes and ensure that both internal and external stakeholders work together seamlessly. This involves a variety of tasks centred on customer relations, communication and a technical understanding of the banking sector.
Corporate Functions
A strong company needs a strong foundation – and you’ll be building it. In HR, Marketing & Communications, Finance, Compliance and Business Administration, you’ll lay the groundwork for successful internal processes and the acquisition of new customers. You’ll work closely with the software, customer and delivery teams and help shape how BANCOS continues to develop as a software company and an employer in the SME sector.
I've been with BANCOS since the beginning of the millennium – the still surprising number of years feels much shorter! No trace of a boring routine. The tasks, projects, and customers were and are fun and challenging. That's how work should be!
